Santa Maria Times: Marian shows off its big heart

The Mega Heart
The folks at Marian Medical took time Wednesday to show the community that they are all heart.
To do so, Marian’s Health and Wellness Center in Santa Maria brought in a unique walk-through inflatable heart — highlighting a day of activities to promote heart health.
The Mega Heart — a 12-foot-tall, 21-foot-long and 15-foot-wide replica of the human heart — is meant to convey the complexity of the organ’s anatomy in an educational way.
